Barrie Rose

A multi-faceted woman with a productive imagination, an entrepreneur most interested in sustainable community on all levels, Barrie is committed to creatively addressing change each step along her life's journey.  

Among her interests are design, both interior and exterior, and education both personal and for the greater benefit of this island community.  

Thinking creatively and sustainability is her passion which currently is expressing itself in various ways including offering the Waimea Events Salon to the greater community, assisting clients in finding their place on the island through her extensive knowledge of Big Island real estate (Clark Realty), while promoting sustainable building options. Habitats Hawaii and Bamboo Living are exciting and creative outlets for expression.

Johanna Tilbury

A most talented and capable woman, actively licensed as a building contractor for 30+ years and operations manager of Waimea Guest House.

Johanna is currently expressing her immense talents in the sustainable building arena, through Habitats Hawaii and building off grid projects which include constructing exquisite custom bamboo homes.  

A capable and productive visionary, Johanna, is also committed to offering her boundless support for a sustainable island community through passionate community support. She is proactive in supporting women through her efforts in helping to organize the Waimea Community Hospital Ohana, supporting efforts to effectively support our women's center at North Hawaii Community Hospital and is very active board member for the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra.
